Five Public Cemeteries will Be Arranged in June

Jakarta Forestry Dept. will arrange five public cemeteries (TPU) starting from June and July. Arrangement process is targeted will take 4 months.

Arrangement process in Semper, Pondok Ranggon, and Bambu Pulung will be started in June

Jakarta Forestry Dept. Public Cemetery Division Head, Siti Hasni said, five public cemeteries that will be arranged are Menteng Pulo, Karet Bivak, Semper, Pondok Ranggon, and Bambu Pulung Public Cemetery. Office, road, toilet, fence and garden will be built in those areas.

"Arrangement process in Semper, Pondok Ranggon, and Bambu Pulung will be started in June. While Menteng Pulo and Karet Bivak are in July," she said, Monday (5/15).

Pilot TPU in Bambu Apus will Accommodate 9,000 Tomb Plots

Besides those arrangements, her side will also conduct a small renovation in other public cemeteries.

"Just renovating toilet or office parts. Total budget is around Rp 22 billion," she closed.
